Richard Goss writes that his family was driving through north Norfolk when he told his kids that the village they were passing through, Burnham Thorpe, was Nelson’s birthplace. “What?” asked an amazed ten-year-old. “Mandela was born here?”
So those trendy teachers are still instructing children about an African historic figure, but ignoring a hugely important hero of our own British history.
